Our horses
Riding lessons and guided rides are offered exclusively to our in-house guests.
Our four-legged residents Ivan, Sepia and Ghibli are strong, calm and reliable horses, particularly suitable for children and mountain riding. They are lovingly cared for by Ivana and senior host Sergio, both experienced horse experts.
Riding activities for our guests
At the Sonnenhof (“Sun Ranch”), guests can gain their first experience in horse care or enjoy riding our gentle horses in the riding arena in front of the stable. Riding lessons are open not only to children, but also to adults. Experienced riders who wish to explore the surroundings can book a guided ride.
In winter, riding activities are closed.

Guided trekking ride
for experienced riders only (from 14 years)

Riding activities for external children
GUIDED LEAD-REIN RIDES – FOR CHILDREN ONLY
Children hop into the saddle and off they go – into the forest, over roots and stones. They are always accompanied by experienced staff and led safely on a rein, allowing them to gain confidence and enjoy a truly special riding experience through the local woods.

Care horse during your holiday
For our young and adult IN-HOUSE GUESTS who dream of having their own horse during their holiday – here you can try it out. From Monday to Friday, full responsibility is taken: feeding, mucking out, grooming and one hour of riding per day (lesson or guided ride).
Price: €120 per week (Saturday & Sunday rest days)
